Rachel May
Festival Director and Producer
Rachel May is the creative force behind the Oxford Storytelling Festival. She is a teacher, a doula for both birth and death, Shadow Work Coach and one half of the team at Sacred Events.
She lives between Oxford, the wilds of Wales and Aegina, her favourite island in Greece.
Rachel's aim in life is to find the living spirit in everything she does and then share it with others. Events are a key part of this: fire circles, small gatherings, ritual/ceremony and festivals.
Increasingly dedicated to healing the divide between humans and Nature, storytelling and hearing the voices of Nature have become prominent in her work and she is excited and challenged to be sharing this festival with you again.
Together, let’s weave the New Story….

JACY REAMER
Site Production
Jacy has been involved with the festival since it's inception in 2018. After a chance encounter at an art exhibition Jacy was enlisted as Festival Photographer and quickly proved to be far more than just a pretty face with a camera. Now Jacy occupies the role of Festival Assistant and Chief Problem Solver, dealing with the set-up, running and pack down of the festival, and loving every minute of it. A wild child who left school at 13, Jacy embarked on a journey of self-searching and discovery. From the study of bushcraft and wilderness living, creative writing and poetry to photography as well as events management and decorating. From a base in Gloucestershire, Jacy has travelled extensively and spent time living in the United States where their paternal family hails from. Jacy's main passion is music, and as a self-taught guitarist uses music and songwriting as a form of self-expression, reflection and healing. Jacy is a firm believer in the importance of understanding one's self in relation to the world and to others, how our own experiences effect how we see those of others and the line between tolerance and acceptance.
